A pawfect addition to the family! Kate Middleton's brother, James Middleton, revealed he has added a new furry friend to his family.
"Today is my Birthday & I'm celebrating with my wonderful fiancee Alizee, and of course all the dogs and a new member of the pack 🐑," the 34-year-old captioned a photo of himself with a sheep and a dog via Instagram on Thursday, April 15.
He continued, "I always reflect on my Birthday and i'm truly so thankful to Ella for bringing me so much happiness into my life. She was the one who introduced me to Alizee, she supported me during my experience with clinical depression, she has kept me young & active and is the driving force behind my motivation to launch @ella.co."
"So you might be wondering why there is a little lamb in the photo… well Captain is partially blind & rejected by his mother so we’ve adopted him… although I think he now thinks he’s a spaniel 🐾," he concluded.
Of course, people loved the sweet photographs. One person wrote, "Happy birthday, I love your puppers, and lamb! 💜," while another added, "Adorable in every way ❤️🙌😍."
A third user added, "Happy birthday. I love your helpful and hopeful posts . 🎂🎉🐶💜."
James — who is expected to tie the knot with Alizée Thevenet later this year — explained how he first met his now fiancée in a piece for The Telegraph, which was published last month.
In 2014, while the two were at Chelsea's the South Kensington Club, James' dog Ella "made a beeline for Alizée." Of course, James apologized — but Thevenet thought he was a "waiter" and "ordered her drink while continuing to stroke Ella, who at this point was on her back lapping up the attention."
The couple has been staying at James' parents house amid the pandemic but are looking forward to being "reunited with our belongings, which have been in storage for almost a year now."
Hopefully, the new home has lots of space for all their pets!
