A reporter asked if Dr. Biden had asked Kate for any advice before she has tea with the 95-year-old matriarch.

"No I didn't. We've been busy. Were you not in that room? We were talking education," the blonde beauty — who has met the Queen before — replied.

"Welcome to the UK, @FLOTUS 🇬🇧🇺🇸," the Duke and Duchess' official Instagram account captioned a slew of photos. "It was great to host Dr. Jill Biden and experts from the UK and the United States for a discussion on the importance of early childhood on lifelong outcomes, and how we can work together to make a difference."

The message continued, "The importance of providing support for parents and children alike during early childhood, and the positive impact that this can have across society, is something we share a great passion for. Next week, The Duchess is looking forward to sharing a major announcement about how she is working to elevate the importance of early childhood and continue the conversation on this vital issue."

The two ladies also took part in a Q&A, and Biden couldn't help but gush over her experience. "I want to say thank you for this program today. Thank you for having me. I met some wonderful teachers and principals and most of all, the children who were so inspiring and so well-behaved. I couldn't get over it!" she said. "I want to thank the press, too, for covering this. Early childhood education is so important, to lay the foundation for all of our students, so thank you for having me. It's a very special place, I can see that."

Meanwhile, "The Queen will meet the President of the United States of America and First Lady Jill Biden at Windsor Castle on Sunday, 13th June 2021," a statement from Buckingham Palace read on June 3.
