The Queen of Denmark plays with an adorable manatee calf during her tour of Brazil's vast biodiversity.

Her Majesty has undergone several outfit changes thus far on the tour and even sported "dressed down" cargo pants and an airy, green button-down shirt during a boat trip on the Amazon River. Her Majesty also toured parts of the rainforest nature reserve, which is sometimes called "the most dangerous" on the planet.

This led one Danish royal expert to share, "The Queen is very much taking on the style of monarchy currently seen in Britain, where dressing down and relaxing ancient protocol is key to evolving the Crown."

The consort is being accompanied on the tour, which concludes on Saturday, October 5, by the Danish government's Climate, Energy and Supply Minister Lars Aagaard.

Earlier this year, amid their first scandal as monarch and consort of Denmark, King Frederik X and his Queen gave an interview in a rare move for the Scandinavian nation's monarchy. Their Majesties engaged in conversation with Danish broadcaster TV 2 while aboard their regal vessel, the Kongeskibet Dannebrog.

Queen Mary was all smiles while touring a nature reserve in Brazil.

In April, Frederik and Mary unveiled their inaugural official gala portrait. However, some royal enthusiasts raised allegations of photoshopping against the couple. One commenter remarked, "Was this photoshopped? It seems like they were photographed separately and then merged together."

Despite such ups and downs, the crown prince and crown princess memorably married in a lavish wedding in 2004 after a four-year romance, and always "try and keep their duties at the forefront" of their marriage. The future king of the Scandinavian nation first met Mary, an Australian advertising executive, during the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Their desire to wed received the blessing of Denmark's monarch and Frederik's mother, Queen Margrethe II, in 2003.

The pair went on to have four children together, Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine. Frederik became the King of Denmark upon the abdication of Margrethe II on January 14. Before Frederik X's accession, the duo was the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Denmark.

Queen Mary is Denmark's first Queen Consort since 1972.

News of the King's royal cheating scandal broke in early November last year when he was still heir, which was followed by a statement from his alleged lover, Genoveva Casanova addressing the rumors.

"I categorically deny the statements that suggest a romantic relationship between Prince Frederick and me," Casanova shared on her Instagram when denying she had an affair with the future king. "Any statement of this type not only completely lacks the truth but also misrepresents the facts in a malicious manner," she continued. "This is already in the hands of my lawyers, who will take care of the pertinent steps to protect my right to honor, truth, and privacy."
