And so it begins! The brunette beauty waved to the crowd when she was in the carriage.
"When autumn has taken hold of Dyrehaven, and the calendar says the first Sunday in November, it's time for the traditional Hubertus hunt 🏇🍂🍁," a caption read.
"So, today, Your Royal Highnesses the Crown Princess, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, along with about 40,000 other spectators, were able to witness the hunt, which is a continuation of the old parforce hunts that Dyrehaven was originally built for," the message continued. Because in Dyrehaven's star — shaped path system, in the old days, dogs were allowed to dust up foxes, after which the field followed. Today, the fox has been replaced by fox tails on two experienced riders who ride at the front of the 11 km long race with 32 obstacles along the way."
The princess and her kids looked like they wore a lot of layers when standing on the balcony!
"After today's race, the Crown Princess could hand out the 'H.K.H. Crown Princess Mary's Honorary Award' to Frederikke Blixencrone and the horse Elan, who won the Hubertus Hunt race. Afterwards, it was Princess Josephine who presented an honorary award to Asta Lund and the pony Minuty, who won today's pony race," the note read.
After events were put on pause due to the ongoing pandemic, it seemed like everyone was in good spirits.
"It was great that the tradition of Hubertus hunting was resumed today," another caption read.
Looks like a fun day!
