To support recruitment to the many new jobs, Lolland Municipality has now opened the country's first international primary school ππ«β£," the royal's Instagram page captioned some photos.
The brunette beauty kneeled down while talking to a little girl on the red carpet.
"Her Royal Highness The Crown Princess could today cut the cord for Lolland International School, which is considered one of Lolland's largest development projects. The daily language at the school will be English, and half of the teaching will take place in English while the school students will at the same time be taught Danish and about the Danish culture and social model," another message read about the day.
"Lolland International School is Denmark's first international primary school and is primarily aimed at children from international families who are in Denmark to work. The school is offered free of charge on an equal footing with the country's other primary schools," the message concluded.
Hugs all around! The princess squeezed some of the toddlers when she visited the school.
The day before, the princess attended the 2021 EliteForsk Awards.
"Research in a class of its own was honored today at the EliteForsk award ceremony at the Ministry of Education and Research in Copenhagen, where Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess together with Minister of Education and Research Jesper Petersen presented this year's EliteForsk awards," a caption read via Instagram.
