Her Majesty Queen Camilla is a title that Britons of 30 years ago would never have imagined or wanted, but the dedicated consort has evolved and is now "rocking" her role.

"I think she might have surprised herself by enjoying hard work as much as she seems to be doing!" former royal correspondent Jennie Bond exclaimed.

Although the property of King Charles, Queen Camilla is said to have 'free rein' over the extensive royal jewelry collection thanks to her status as the 'most senior lady in the land.'

"She is, after all, a woman who has never had to commit to a solid career or the grind of a 9 to 5 job," she added. "She has taken on a significantly increased workload and a huge amount of responsibility in the past few months, and is looking and sounding great on it!"

The former Camilla Shand always moved in aristocratic, and eventually, royal circles beginning in the 1960s. She first met the then-Prince Charles in 1970 and a royal romance for the ages began. Her Majesty's love for her King has always been highlighted, with Bond adding: "I think part of it is because she so much wants the man she loves to be proud of her, and to pull her weight in their partnership."

Although Their Majesties enjoy widespread support in their roles as the two most important people in Britain, the shadow of His Majesty's first wife, Diana, Princess of Wales, whom he had two children with, Princes William and Harry, still lingers for many people.

Diana, Princess of Wales, 'despised' Queen Camilla.

Bond continued: "But also it must be so gratifying to have earned widespread approval — even affection — from a public who once ganged up against her as the 'marriage breaker' and the 'other woman' who made Diana so unhappy."

Despite her goodwill with her spouse's subjects, the Queen's bitter battle with his youngest son has been a large focus of her role as consort since his accession in September 2022.

I think people have to realize that the one thing that Charles finds unforgivable is criticism of Camilla," The King author Christopher Andersen shared. "There’s no criticism of Camilla. And unfortunately for Harry ... Harry said some pretty devastating things about her. He made it clear that he felt she was ... the villain in the piece."

Although King Charles and Prince Harry have made a few different attempts to reconcile since the release of the California Duke's autobiography in early 2023, the monarch allegedly "keeps returning" to the passages Harry wrote about his stepmother with disdain and disappointment.

As for Her Majesty, the Queen is proving that "she is dedicated to a lifetime of service in her role as consort."

"These days I think Camilla is looking sleeker, smarter, and more stylish than ever and she has grown immeasurably in confidence," Bond concluded.
