The Cambridges' Body Language In Their Christmas Card Proves The Family-Of-Five 'Is Very Happy Right Now,' Says Expert
Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three kids are loving life — and their recently debuted holiday card proves it!
Speaking to Coffee Friend, body language expert Darren Stanton offered his opinion on the card, which depicted the dressed-down family-of-five vacationing in Jordan.
"The first thing that strikes me about the photo is that everybody pictured is flashing a genuine smile. So often in photographs, no matter how important the person being photographed is, fake smiles are shown and faces can seem very disingenuous," he noted. "In this particular picture, everyone is displaying genuine emotion, which would suggest it’s a very happy time for the family right now."
"Kate always flashes a great smile, her whole face is engaged and her Crow’s feet — the three lines at the side of the eyes — are visible, which denotes a genuine smile and it is congruent with how open and inviting the rest of her body language is," he continued. "Her maternal intuition beams through, as she has her hand on the back of Prince George in a reassuring way."
Stanton also touched on the body language of 8-year-old George's two younger siblings.
The expert explained, "While the two princes, George and Louis [3], have adopted the same pose and position with their arms and legs, mirroring each other, Princess Charlotte [6], sits with a slightly more turned posture, suggesting she has a different personality to her siblings."
The Cambridges released the cute photo on December 10, captioning it on social media, "Delighted to share a new image of the family, which features on this year’s Christmas card 🎄."
The brood will spend the holiday with Queen Elizabeth, who is once again hosting the festivties.
"It’s going to be a big family affair," an insider shared with Us Weekly. "George, Charlotte and Louis are absolutely delighted to be seeing their great grandmother in person again."
