Even though Meghan Markle was not born into the royal family, she sure knows how to dress for events!
Before the mom-of-two — who turned 40 on August 4 — married Prince Harry, she starred in Suits, which altered her life — and the way she dressed!
"I think it's really changed because my sensibility had always been relaxed California girl style, and on any given day I was in jeans, cut-offs and flip-flops. But the weather alone in Toronto changes your wardrobe! The fashion on Suits is gorgeous, so it also became my education of designers and really knowing what fits my body well," she previously said.

The Duchess of Sussex sported a pink dress with a matching jacket in 2019.
"On a normal day, I love a shift dress with flats and a little cropped jacket. That for me is my travel wear if it's not too chilly — you can throw a scarf over your legs if it's cold on the plane!" she shared. "On the show, I wear things that are so body conscious, so it's nice to have things that are a little easier to breathe in. As I've gotten older, I like longer dresses, but my legs come up to my ears and I'm not very tall, so when I wear a short skirt I've got to be really conscious."
The brunette beauty looked so put together in a white long-sleeve shirt and black pants while attending an event for Smart Works, a charity fashion brand.
So classy! The couple dressed in black when they attended The Lion King premiere in London on July 14, 2019.
During a trip to Cape Town, South Africa, Meghan sported a striped long dress.
The TV star looked radiant in a long dress, which she paired with heels during an event in 2018.
In honor of entering a new decade, Meghan is planning a bash at her home in California.
"Megan wants a small gathering. About 65 people are invited, her closest friends and family. Colin [Cowie] was recommended to her by Oprah, who always puts on fabulous parties," a source said, adding that Prince Harry has ordered a cake from Posies & Sugar and guests will enjoy drinking wine and eating locally sourced foods at the soirée.
